CFWH General Research Grant
The CFWH General Research Grant supports innovative medical research that promotes and advances women’s health and education.

The Kitty Carr Grant supports postgraduate research focused on preventing maternal deaths. Eligible areas of study include obstetrics, health systems and health policy research.

André B. Lalonde Bursary for Canadian Physicians Working in Areas of Special Need
The André B. Lalonde Bursary promotes greater knowledge of and interest in national and international women’s health issues among Canadian health-care professionals who are members of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC).
The bursary supports medical students and early-career physicians who wish to work, or are currently working, with underserved Canadian communities, Indigenous populations in Canada or populations in low-resource international settings.
Funding: $4,000 to the recipient and $1,000 to the receiving institution
Number available: Up to two bursaries may be awarded each calendar year
Funding period: One year

CFWH/SOGC Journalism Award
The CFWH/SOGC Journalism Award recognizes journalists, reporters and producers who demonstrate excellence in communicating information about women’s sexual and reproductive health to the public.
The award recognizes outstanding work in print and broadcast journalism.
